As the founder of Nouveau Nutrition, a premium nutrition service, my desire to improve the quality of life through lifestyle changes for overall health and weight loss has led me to start my own nutrition practice. I think that I was always a nutritionist even as a child, I would change recipes so that they would be healthier. I owe my healthy eating habits to my mother, who always had healthy snacks within arms reach. These healthy habits are still used in my life today. At Nouveau Nutrition we believe in clean eating and that small changes in our lives can lead to big changes. I have found a way to combine really delicious food that is easy to make and healthy.
Here is a little more about my road to becoming a nutritionist:
-Graduated with honors from University of New Haven with a BS. in Nutrition and Dietetics.
-Attended the highly competitive Yale New Haven Hospital Dietetic Internship in 2012. Where my clinical side of nutrition was brought to a higher level. My clinical rotations varied from Pediatrics to Geriatrics.
-Passed the certified exam to become a Nutrition Dietetic Technician, Registered, NDTR.
-Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Kids Eat Right.
-It was always a mission for me to volunteer and give back to my community. It brings me such joy to help out my fellow man. Here are just some of the places that I have volunteered for over the years:
Yale New Haven Hospital (Food and Nutrition Department) ◦ Connecticut Food Bank ◦Cooking Corps ◦ Delivered Meals of Westport ◦ Kid’s Backpack Program ◦ Star 99.9 FM Food Drive ◦ Cooking Matters ◦ St. Paul Lutheran Church ◦ American Cancer Society
As a nutrition expert, it is imperative for me to be in the forefront of nutrition. This, is done by constant research and attending conferences and expos in the field of nutrition.
At Nouveau Nutrition, we are here to help you to attain your goals.
Yours in health,
Kira J. Pantschenko
